What is one thing you will never do again?
Never say never....but I probably won't adopt another fish anytime in the near future. Let's just say I work best with mammals.
If you had a theme song during your workday, what would it be?
All Will Be Well-The Gabe Dixon Band.
What are you most passionate about outside of work?
My family and music. If I can combine the two, even better: playing piano with my son, going to see a band with my husband, hiking with my dog while listening to tunes, etc.
If you could come up with a clinic slogan, what would it be?
ACOC: because your best friend deserves the best care!
I love talking to clients about...
All things feline! Cats are masters at hiding illness and pain and can be misunderstood. I consider it a privilege to be their advocate.
What is your favorite thing or most inspiring part of your position at ACOC?
I love witnessing the human-animal bond on a regular basis. That mutual love is nothing short of amazing. I also love seeing the "fixes;" seeing a dog walk again after spinal trauma, seeing a cat eat after a bout of pancreatitis, seeing a puppy or kitten perk up after treating their hypoglycemia. My patients inspire me.
What is your favorite ACOC core value and why?
Voice: I am honored to speak on behalf of my patients who cannot speak for themselves.
