Why Cryotherapy?
There is an increasing need to remove skin disorders for medical necessity or cosmetic reasons. In our clinic we have adopted an innovative procedure to treat these lesions by freezing. These are the advantages:

• No skin preparation or aftercare is needed

What is Cryotherapy?
It is a process of rapidly freezing tissue in order to destroy unwanted skin lesions. The CryoProbe we use is a pen-like instrument which uses nitrous oxide to deliver quick and effective treatment. Depending on what type of lesion is treated, the tissue will scab or "crust over" within a few days. The scab will simply fall off withing the next 14 days.  Bandaging and/or bathing restrictions are not necessary.
