Why Work at the Animal Clinic of Chardon?

Chardon is in Geauga County and just 30 miles east of Cleveland. This location offers a perfect blend of beautiful countryside including 22 unique parks to explore, interesting culture, captivating history, and one-of-a-kind shopping!

Are you looking for a practice that encourages you to show your skills as well as allowing you to learn and grow? How about a practice with a great team culture where we share a passion for pets, extraordinary client experience, and precise veterinary medicine?

So, what is ACOC all about?
We are about passion and dedication to the patients we serve. We believe that the clients and the patients can gain value and comfort in knowing we are a feline friendly and fear free certified clinic. We believe that “one” of the most important things patients can gain from their visit with us is their physical exam. Together our exceptional veterinarians and our skilled assistants/technicians verbalize to the client every aspect of their findings, whether normal or abnormal. We then prescribe a suitable plan to better the life of their pets, whether through state-of-the- art diagnostics or preventative medicine. ACOC is in it for the pets.

We know veterinary medicine is not just about cuddling with puppies and kittens!
We believe in a team culture where we collaborate and encourage the success of others and where gratification has a true meaning. Here at ACOC we believe our passions bring us together, and each and every individual here can help maximize not only his or her own potential and skill set but also of others. We condone a healthy work-life balance and are committed to providing a fulfilling work environment.

So, what is in it for you?
Well for starters, we offer:
  • A competitive salary, based on experience
  • Paid time off
  • Uniform allowance
  • CE allowance
  • 401(k) plan with Company Match
  • Full time position
  • Medical, dental, and life insurance

  • A fun place to work
