Body Condition Score: A 5-point scale will be used on which a score of three is considered to represent ideal weight and muscle tone for a patient of the given species, breed, and age. A score of 2 is mildly underweight and 1 is emaciated. A body condition score of 4 is mildly overweight and a body score of 5 is considered obese. Back to Exam Normals
