Normals for Cats

Musculoskeletal: Patient is ambulatory and comfortable while moving / changing positions. Muscle tone is not focally or diffusely decreased. There is no reported or observed weakness. Skeletal conformation is symmetrical and normal for the breed / species. There is no apparent pain during the physical exam. There are no hernias, open fontanelles, missing digits / limbs / tails. Surgical alterations such as amputation will be noted here. When describing muscle mass, a 4 point scale will be used with options of normal, mildly decreased, moderately decreased, or severely decreased. Back to Exam Normals
