Normals for Dogs

Urinary / Reproductive Tract: Urinations are normal in volume, frequency, and effort. External genitals appear normal. Neuter status will be noted and updated here. There are no abnormalities in the size, shape, or contour of the bladder or kidneys. Perineal / perivulvar / peripreputial skin abnormalities may be noted here. Heat cycles in intact adult dogs should be normal in frequency, duration, and amount / type of exudate. There are no owner concerns with a pet who might be pregnant. There are no symptoms of dystocia in a pregnant pet. Back to Exam Normals
