Cat Exam Normals
Ears:
Are free of excessive discharge or inflammation or excessive hair. There are no visible parasites. The canals are open and reasonably symmetrical. Pinnae have normal appearing skin and haired surfaces. There is no reported hearing loss or failure to respond to environmental sounds in the exam room. Tympani are intact and normal in appearance. Otoscopy does not result in a painful response. The epithelium and cartilage of the ear canals is pliable, normal in appearance, and is free of pigmentation, masses / polyps, or chronic changes such as lichenification or stenosis. |
